The 7 midwife checks

Seven checks. Passed all seven.

You have seen what most pacifiers get wrong. Here is how Nuckly does on the exact same seven checks, in the hands of midwife Nadia John.

01Soft enough to collapse

Squeeze it between two fingers: it collapses completely and springs back. Nothing presses against the palate.

02Breast-like shape

Slim neck, soft wide tip. Lips roll out and the tongue stays in front, exactly like at the breast.

03Low volume in the mouth

Newborn-sized. A flat tip that rests lightly on the tongue instead of filling the mouth.

04Curved, ventilated shield

Curves away from the face, real vent holes, clearly wider than the mouth. Skin stays dry.

05One single piece

No glue, no seams, no joints. Nothing that can loosen, trap milk or come off.

06See-through medical silicone

100% medical-grade silicone, fully transparent, BPA-free. You see every spot and every bit of wear.

07Solid, boils in one piece

Nothing hollow, no valve. Milk cannot get inside. Boil it whole, nothing to take apart.

7of 7

checks passed. The only design in the test that passed every single one.

Check 2 in real life

Watch the tongue stay in front.

A round, firm nipple pushes the tongue back and many babies spit it out within seconds. Nuckly mirrors the breast: same width, same softness, same lip posture. The reflex that rejects other pacifiers is the one that accepts this one.

How it works
The solution: a breast-like shape

Feels like nursing. That's the whole trick.

Nuckly was developed over two years with midwives, doctors and hundreds of families. The shape follows the anatomy of the breast, and your baby's reflexes do the rest.

1
Lips roll outwardThe wide, soft base lets the lips flange out naturally, exactly like at the breast. No pursing, no strain.
2
A gentle vacuum formsWith the tongue in front, sucking creates the same soft vacuum as breastfeeding. Sucking becomes effortless.
3
The calming reflex kicks inEffortless sucking triggers the relaxation reflex. Your baby settles, and so do you.

Expertise you can rely on
"What matters isn't whether you use a pacifier, but how consciously you use it. That's exactly where Nuckly gets it right."

In her daily work Nadia sees how different babies are, and how important a relaxed, mindful approach to pacifiers is. A pacifier never replaces closeness or breastfeeding, but used well it can gently calm a baby and give it security.

Accepted by most babiesAlso by breastfed babies, without affecting nursing.
Supports natural behaviourThe thought-through shape invites babies to be active instead of sucking non-stop.
Not a "permanent" pacifierBabies explore it, settle, and let it go again.

"Worked on the very first try."

Tried three pacifiers, he spat them all out. With Nuckly it worked on the very first try. It just feels different, softer, more natural. He's been sleeping better ever since, and so have I.

Always clean, always safe
Hygiene and care

So simple to keep clean.

Babies put everything in their mouths, so a pacifier has to stay hygienic without effort. Nuckly is one piece of silicone: no gaps, no cracks, nothing to take apart.

Before first useBoil for 5 minutesLet it cool and squeeze out any water left in the teat.
Every dayRinse or boilWarm water is enough day to day. Sterilize regularly by boiling or in a sterilizer.
Stays freshNo odors, no build-upSilicone does not absorb flavors or smells and dries in seconds.
ReplaceEvery 1 to 2 monthsCheck the teat before every use and replace it at the first sign of wear.
Safety and usage instructions

TÜV tested according to DIN EN 1400:2018-11.

For your child's safety. Warning!
  • Inspect the pacifier carefully before each use. Pull the teat in all directions. Throw it away at the first signs of damage, wear or weakness.
  • Only use tested pacifier holders or clips in accordance with EN 12586 with a safety fastener. Never attach other ribbons, cords or knots to the pacifier: risk of strangulation.
  • Before first use, place the pacifier in boiling water for 5 minutes, let it cool down and squeeze out any water remaining in the teat.
  • Clean thoroughly before each use. Sterilise regularly (boiling or a suitable sterilisation method).
  • Store hygienically and keep it clean.
  • Do not put it in the microwave or clean it in the dishwasher: high temperatures can damage the material.
  • Never expose the pacifier to direct sunlight or heat, and do not leave it in disinfectant solution longer than recommended: this can damage the material.
  • Never dip the teat in sweet substances or medication: risk of tooth decay.
  • Do not use the pacifier as a teething ring.
  • The packaging is not a toy. Keep it away from babies and children (risk of suffocation).
  • A pacifier is not a toy. Never leave your child unattended while using it.
  • Replace the pacifier every 1 to 2 months for hygiene and safety reasons.
  • If the pacifier ends up completely inside the mouth: do not panic. It cannot be swallowed and is designed for this case. Remove it carefully and gently.
  • Observe the age recommendation: only use the pacifier in the intended age group.
  • Not every baby accepts a pacifier. Acceptance cannot be guaranteed.

Questions? Answered.

Everything parents ask us before their first Nuckly.

Contact our team
What if my baby doesn't accept Nuckly?

Most babies accept Nuckly within the first few tries because the shape feels like the breast. Offer it in a calm moment, for example after feeding, and gently stroke the cheek so the sucking reflex kicks in. If it still doesn't work out, our support team is happy to help with tips, and returns are easy.

Can I use Nuckly while breastfeeding?

Yes. Nuckly was developed together with midwives specifically to combine with breastfeeding. The wide, soft nipple encourages the same natural sucking pattern as nursing, which helps avoid nipple confusion.

Which age is Nuckly suitable for?

Nuckly is designed for babies from birth. The one-size shape adapts naturally to the baby's mouth. As with any pacifier, please check it regularly and replace it every 1 to 2 months.

What is Nuckly made of?

100% medical-grade silicone, free from BPA, PVC and phthalates. It's a single piece with no seams or gaps, so nothing can get stuck inside and there's nothing to take apart.

How do I clean and sterilize it?

Boil it for 5 minutes before first use, then rinse with warm water day to day and sterilize regularly by boiling or in a sterilizer. Nuckly is fully transparent, so you can see it's clean. Please keep it out of the microwave and dishwasher, high heat can damage the material.

What exactly is in the Starter Set?

Two Nuckly pacifiers (one for home, one for the bag) and the Nuckly Pacifier Guide, which walks you through the first try, cleaning and gentle weaning. Both pacifiers are medical-grade silicone, suitable from birth. Everything you need from day one.

Do you ship to my country, and how fast?

We ship across Europe and internationally. You'll receive a tracking link as soon as your order leaves the warehouse. Not happy? Easy returns, no questions asked.
